This is an LED Smart Lamp I designed and built. As part of an ongoing educational process of teaching myself electronics I challenged myself to build this without using a micro-controller, i.e. going old skool. The lamp uses 4x super bright white LEDs and consumes less than 1 watt of power. It's considered "smart" because it switches itself on or off depending on how much daylight is available.
The shade itself is made of Balsa wood.
